  Intercessory Prayer
CWOP Ministries believes fully that unity in prayer is needed for such a time as this and we come together across denominations and cultures as believers in Christ.  We have come together as one in the spirit to pray.  May God grant us the humility and mind of Christ as we seek His heart to pray accordingly to His good, acceptable, and perfect will.
Intercessory prayer is prayer which is undertaken on behalf of others.  The intercessor uses prayer to communicate with God, making request on behalf of someone else or on behalf of a group of people.
One study Bible defines intercession as "holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention."
Here are a few Biblical Examples of intercessory prayer.
In Philippians 1:9-11, Paul prayed for the believers: "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God."
The church prayed fervently for Peter while he was imprisoned. Acts 12:5 says, "So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him."

1 Timothy 2:1-5 exhorts us to pray for others: "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and please God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

Lord, You have the name that is above all names. You are Lord forever and there is no one who can challenge Your authority and power.  You rule for ever and ever, and there is no end to Your Kingdom. We bring our sisters before Your throne of grace, and ask that You would look upon them with Your favor.

We ask that you would strengthen your daughters. Bless them Lord with Your presence, and encourage their hearts. Remind them of Your faithfulness and Your love that they might stand in faith against all the issues they face on today.
Dear Lord, we pray that you would bind the schemes of the enemy that try to tear our sisters down and rebuke the spirits that have been assigned against them. We come against them through the blood of Jesus.
We ask you Lord to minister fresh strength and joy to them. We agree with Your word that says that Your plans for our sisters are to give them a hope and a future.  Father let it be so according to Your divine will in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen!

We also invite you allow us to pray for you. We can receive your confidential prayer requests by e-mail, by phone, or through our website Contact Us page to lift up daily to the throne of God.
